TV News Producer, KXLY-TV (Spokane, Wash.)

• December 2018 – December 2020

  • Produced live TV newscasts using Avid iNews software to write scripts and edit video for half hour and full hour broadcasts on ABC affiliate news station.

  • Other daily responsibilities include choosing stories for the newscast, requesting graphics, fonting/captioning video, and timing the show from the control room during live broadcasts.

Sportscaster, KUGR Radio (Pullman, Wash.)

• January 2014 – May 2017

  • KUGR, an on-campus, student-ran radio station at WSU broadcasts Cougar athletic events over the internet as an online radio station. I have done play-by-play broadcasting for football, men's and women's basketball, and baseball games, along with soccer and volleyball matches. I attended the 2016 Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament in Seattle to broadcast WSU's game for the station and did the same for the 2017 Pac-12 Men's Tournament in Las Vegas.

Sports Journalism Work:

Journalism intern, Florida Collegiate Summer League (Orlando, Fla.)

• Responsible for providing coverage of the Altamonte Springs Boom baseball team by writing game recaps, weekly summaries, and features stories. Other duties included managing the Boom social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and attending community outreach events.
